Terror and Boredom

Brennan was ripped awake by screams from the Listening post.  Two soldiers out there were overpowered by VC, and now the ambush assault started with his feelings of terror shoved down by the need to act.  Yesterday he was so bored he tried some cocaine to quell the feelings of never ending sameness.

Maybe 50 yrs later it would be an excursion on Bitcoin.  After all the DJ was just going up 10-20 points a clip, with those pesky dips, and after all, all you had to do was BTFD !   BUT WHAT THE HELL WAS WRONG NOW ?
Dow down 3,300 points in Nine (9) days, and whatever they wanted to call a "recovery" on NO real Volume at all. Could those pesky BTFD dips gotten us so careless we had 15% or more shaved of every stock since Jan 31. Oh yes then we add in the  720+ point last week.  While I do not know what to call it yet but a phrase comes to mind:

ARMEGEDEON MEETS GROUND HOG'S DAY

Still bored or now suspecting something more serious may be afoot ?
Does it feel the same as when someone yelled "INCOMING"?  Fear on the loose?
Fear is a good thing if it gets you to DO SOMETHING rather than being frozen
as a "Deer in The Headlights".
The dense foliage of eigthteen  kinds of news, Alt-Right, Fake News, Drudge
News, Criminal News Network(CNN), etc ad nauseum, hiding those who want to harvest your organs or money as well as the jungle hid the VC.
Just like boredom led to carelessness for Brennan, it held true you knew as you counted your losses.

So what have you DONE now that 15% of your value is annhilated, not to be recovered?

For the last the last 28 years, after the Reagan Administration the investment arena has gotten more and more dangerous.  Note that during the last two Administrations, the govt. agencies responsible for economic health of the USA have depended on the cosmetics of making things look good rather than fix the ills.  And here we are.  Hemmed in with few exits.

TWO THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

        1.  There are exits.  Like everything they have risk, however
IMO less risk than you now face.
        2.   There is time left to act.  Not a lot but enough for you to get your
act together, and preserve your capital.

The formula is simple.  Acting on it may not be.   Sign up for Golden Mean/

Well Sports Fans, how about that DEAD CAT Bounce

Oh did I laugh when I saw the CAT - TODAY !!   Its fromhttps://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-03-22/investment-grade-credit-crashes-dow-dumps-500-points
so I had to share that with you.

So are you ready for 5 more months of up and down?      remember when I think it was Tom McClellan came out about a month ago, with a potential forcast for the DJI and the rest to have serious bust B4 Mar 10, and then a decline in March, so it was the VIX Kerfuffle and today.   OK, that is fine, but the other shoe he dropped was that it was likely to continue that pattern until it hit its annual LO in July.  Catch that Sports Fans.   So the DJI and them will continue to bob up and down in a topping pattern till Aug when it will have played itself out of its downward momentum.
Don't know if it sounds right but it does sound logical.

This is all fun, but what will you do?  Sign up for a subscription, no risk and see what you could to preserve and enhance your capital........... DG

MARCH MADNESS

Who will survive the cuts, the semi's, the finals ?  So where to begin?

So will the DOW top 26.6 K in any reasonable time frame, say before August?

Or in the other sectors, will we see copper, energy, cannabis, lithium, cobalt, graphite or energy give us a run?   I'd have to say this is rather suspicious, averages running up but NOT topping their All Time Highs.

So smarts and savvy are no longer optional for those who will make it.

There could be more dead cats around, but this one bounced like one, so if it quacks like a duck, it likely is.

The US 30 year bond doesn't look any better.

Pretty much they both mimic dead felines quite well.

Here is a longer term chart of DOW Util that could be a leading indicator:
Rolling over is a good possiblity as well as MACD has lost its momentum.

Ask yourself if this is the LAST BUFFALO.   XLF is the ONLY SPDR sector to come back to a new high.   All the other 8 are down pretty far.

So no matter the sector, or market there are Inverse ETF's you may hedge with.
So far they have been better than options for me in expiration stability.  Not easy to handle but right timing is important.

The RIGHT Option ?  Agile & Aware are two qualities to hang on to.  Add in some boldness.  Those three  about what I use most successfully.

As market research, I am offering my regular subscription, introductory
HALF, as in 50% off for the first month, so you may examine it, seeing if its to your liking.  Risk Free as always, there is a 100% No-Questions Refund policy in place.  Something pretty hard to find, a GREAT DEAL and PROTECTION.

"The Last Days of Pompei...??" Is that what this is about ?

Scary stuff like a Derivatives Blow UP, and yet it took 400 yrs for Rome to end up the same way, so where are we now?  However if you were in this area, indeed perhaps the region there was no way to escape by land or water.  There will still be other areas unscathed but WHICH AREA WILL BLOW FIRST?

visit the chatroom........
perhaps KGC & HMY are candidates, not my cup of tea but I watch KL or KL.To for signs
happy trails

Saturday Recap and Update for Gold Silver TA Chatroom ( live & free)

well I give this week an "F" as far as PM's go, since the PM's flopped and wobbled around all week, the HK $Yuan price for delivered gold
btwn 1330 & 1335 Here you can ck it yourself http://didthesystemcollapse.com/
So the Canadian $ and Japanese Yen are wobbling as well.
Main Market-wise I'd say this recovery from that 3,300 Dow Slide is not recovering well across the board as it is in the S & P 1500.  Here are three comparative charts of WLSH wide market, the NYSE and the SP1500:

The market as a whole has not recovered very much

Now the NYSE is usually advanced over the WLSH or NAZ, but here it is not really,

And notably, the NYSE index, fell farther after hitting the celing, and recovered less.        Now lets look at the S & P 1500, which has got a lot of better attention than the rest

Do now here is the best approximation i can get on the S & P 1500 Summation index, using volume as a proxy

and now you see it has hardly recovered at all per volume now look at prices:

And now the price recovery.   The whole kettle of fish does not add up.

Thats for YOUR info.

The ABYSS, Now This? CHATROOM LAUNCH Today

OK so it felt like Autumn 2007 for a bit,

What reminded me of 2007 SOOOO Much, is that the DROPS were HUGE, while the little lock steps were just that, so they were goosed into position 5 points at a time so people could BTFD, but when the time came to correct, there was no pussy-footing to be done.

Do you smell something ? Give it the "Sniff test".

Smoke ? Fire ? I don't smell anything...!
Nickel Mountain Stampede
Somethings just won't pass the “Sniff Test”. Like the fridge after two weeks of bachelor life, or the bait you forgot to take out of the boat that last time you loaded it on the trailer, or the hard boiled eggs I forgot were in my backpack last hunting season. Nope, one whiff and you KNOW something is there.

In larger world, somethings never change. This week I caught a whiff of something reminiscent of Jacuie McNish's “The Big Score”, Robert Friedland and The Voisey Bay Hustle.

Now I am going to re-read it to compare The Voisey Bay Hustle to the unfolding saga of
Garibaldi Resources “Nickle Mountain” in Northern British Columbia.
This, lacking a better title, I call the Nickle Mountain Stampede. Back in the day of the Klondike or the Cariboo, stampede was used to describe the move of men and animals (maybe a few ladies as well) to the newly discovered fields of wealth of the West first, then the North. People of all manner and means gravitated to the goldfields to find mintable wealth on the surface of the earth in a scramble for a good claim. You know the rest.
In my work as a Technical Analyst, repeat appearances on my “Scanned Lists” often leave me impressions of stocks that show up high but never quite make the final selection.
Throughout the Spring and early Summer of 2017 Garibaldi Resources was one, and I was a bit intrigued by it, until it began giving off vibrations that trigger some “bottom finding” scans, in June of 2017. As I monitored for seasonal turnpoints, I recommended GGI.V(Garibaldi) as “sleeper” in June 2017 of unknown potential, as a low priced Junior explorer/developer under 20 cents, for nothing more than its technical market action. The rest is history ! ? NOT YET !
Let me spare you the details. If you want them, just Google any number of the locales listed in the various press and news releases from the companies involved. Like a dropped stitch in a sweater, they will unravel and lead you to Terabytes of info. Bottom line in one word ? METALS. Base + Precious+etc. Lots of them. Is this going to be a stampede ?
Yes, but but not for those without a lot of cash (or credit). Why am I bothering with this?

If you read about the resource sector, I think you will recognize the names that will show up here in the endgame. Until then, I don't think they matter. For now what matters and what has hinted and clued me as to the potential struggle to control this particular discovery is the pull-back of data, the deletion of information from public information releases, and the hints and clues contained in previous releases. Ah yes theory ( conspiracy, no doubt) accompanied by verification (chart on P.1). Those who know are voting with their dollars. Those of us who suspect, also voting with our dollars (includes me). Add to that the people put on the project, and those taken off. Later we will see who got what. After the deal is made.
For those of you who remember the Aurelium deal where investors were shut down then shut out it in rather abrupt fashion, I am trying to recall the CEO's name, but does not come to mind yet. He went on to CEO a Brazilian firm but I haven't seen much of him since, but am the lookout for he or those of his ilk, brought in, if such is to be the case, to sew up the deal before this stock appreciates out of sight, to be acquired by another. Sounds crazy doesn't it ? And you and I know it is sorta crazy but just what happens, especially to those either too slow, or too deep in disbelief or denial.
What I KNOW is here is in plain sight, whether its the subject matter experts brought on board, from the Voisey Bay Era, or the retracted press releases, or the new de-emphasis on this discovery, it feels like a fire-hose is being turned on an emerging magma stream, which cannot be stopped, but is gathering containment efforts until re-enforcement arrive. Who might they be? Well I don't think Eric Sprott is who is in the reinforcements, but might he be the camel's nose under the tent? I have not made up my mind, but I know he is early at getting a fistful of stock of the two major players here, Garibaldi (GGI.V) and Metallis (MTS.V).
l
This need not be THEIR dirty little secret, trying to stealthily acquire the company on the cheap before the public gets wind of the developments. I figure sunshine is good for everyone. Execute your own Due Diligence Investigation, rather than taking my word for it.
For me these stocks remain on my radar. For any more info you can follow me on twitter, as

Reviewing July and August

Autumn has arrived in Eastern Ontario and we're now ready to tackle the trades before us. The following is a short review of July and August.
Image may contain: plant, tree, flower, outdoor and nature

For the Precious Metals / Hard Assets sector, August started off awaiting a potential correction.  For some, there was no correction, for others it was flat, and others also shallow.  We felt good and called it as a BULL ADVANCE, to stay long in the GOLD-SILVER Miner ETFs and the Metal ETFs, plus three excellent PEAK PICKS Recommendations, doing well.

August like July seemed shot thru with uncertainty, and potential.  The real story was the potential turning into reality, especially in the Copper Sector. Speaking to that, we have a number of successful Recommendations in the Copper Sector. Our Gold-Silver selections are also doing well. Energy is another area that is showing relative strength.

I want to note that there will be more signals forthcoming this Fall, like there were this Summer, to provide excellent profits for your portfolio.  The Golden Mean Peak-Picks Combo has done a great job, and you can sign up for it on the sidebar.  GOLDEN MEAN – PEAK PICKS continues to monitor the strength in sectors so you can profit.   Good luck.

Keeping life simple

Each month I will share with you some ideas about simplicity.  When our lives are simplified we are more able to see our finances in a clear way.

SIMPLICITY

Small word, easy word, so why is it important? “Ah the simple life…”

Yes, it is the opposite of complicated or complex. Possibly having too many credit arrangements to keep sorted out and paid on schedule. That can be complicated. Impose the discipline necessary to spend only cash. That’s simple. That’s hard. We know that.

Do you have too much stuff in your place and can’t find anything? How about that can of WD-40 or mosquito repellent that you can’t put your finger on that makes life complicated.
Going minimalist starts out complicated, ends up simple. Now you can see where your stuff is, after you declutter. Simplicity can be tricky sometimes, even difficult so why bother?

I’ll list a few ideas for you to ponder or even put into practice that deal with everyday items and activities in your life and mine:

1. Reduce. How about owning less?

2. Organize. This is a no brainer.  For instance, all the canned goods on one shelf; pasta on top of that. Of course, your organizational needs may be more tools related or perhaps your book shelves. You can see where your items are and expect to find them there easily.

3. Time Saver. Keep your calendar up to date and accurate. Time is the one quantity we seem to have unlimited amounts of, until it runs out.

You can be passionate about something now that your life is not so complicated, you have room for the emotions. Now that you have uncluttered your space and your mind, you can trust and have faith things do work out. Simple, right? Some things are NEVER going to get uncomplicated. This is a fact of life. Deal with the obvious. Car tires bad? Change ‘em. No cash? Work an extra shift, take 2 days less vacation. Do the obvious, and use whatever tools help you keep life simple. That is what simplicity can do for you. That is why I am passionate about it.

Summer

Summer can be a great time of relaxation and fun.
Summer can also be a time when creativity steps up to the plate.

DenaliguideSummit is under construction.  August 1st, 2017 will see a new beginning as DGS launches into a new look, a new feel, and a renewed purpose.

Stay tuned for what's next!!

What people say about DGS

During the period Feb 1/17 to May 31/17, with the assistance of Denali Guide, trading primarily in ETFs using his “Golden Mean” I was able to increase my portfolio by 9.1% over the four month period. In addition I found him to be most helpful and forthcoming about his methodologies and the reasoning behind them.
